If anyone has video of the barrel collar with the polymer insert ("22lr Quiet Collar), I'd be interested to see whether it, by itself, reduces bolt bounce.

I snagged one of the new ones from inventory when they came in today. I was planning on filming some M&P 15-22 and BCA 22mag in 1000fps, so I'll do the QC as well without a bolt weight.

I took the footage today, and without a bolt weight, the quiet collars essentially eliminated bolt bounce. This is great news for those running low power ammo which does not allow for use of the bolt weight.
